Accessibility
We want the Fairbourne Digital website to be usable by as many people as possible.
Accessibility has been considered as part of the site's design and development, and we intend to keep improving it as the website evolves.
What we're aiming for
Our aim is to follow recognised accessibility good practice and the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA where reasonably applicable.
This includes considering areas such as:
- clear page structure and headings
- keyboard navigation
- visible focus states
- colour contrast
- readable text
- responsive layouts and zoom
- meaningful link text
- accessible forms and controls
- appropriate treatment of images and decorative content
- reduced-motion preferences where animation is used
Testing status
We have carried out accessibility checks across representative pages and common components of the Fairbourne Digital website, including keyboard navigation, page structure, colour contrast, responsive layouts, forms and interactive elements.
We have also used automated accessibility testing alongside manual checks.
We have not yet tested the website with the full range of assistive technologies, such as screen readers.
This testing is intended to identify and address practical accessibility issues, but it is not a complete independent audit of every WCAG 2.2 success criterion. We therefore do not claim formal WCAG 2.2 AA conformance.
Known accessibility issues
We are not currently aware of a specific accessibility issue that prevents access to a particular part of the site.
That does not mean the website is guaranteed to be free of accessibility issues. If you come across a problem, please tell us so we can investigate it.
Services provided by other organisations
Our online booking calendar is provided by Microsoft Bookings, and the contact form uses a Cloudflare Turnstile check to prevent spam. We do not control how these services are built. If either is difficult to use, email [email protected] and we will arrange a conversation with you directly.
Tell us if something isn't working for you
If you find part of this website difficult to use, or need information in a different format, please contact us at [email protected].
Tell us what you were trying to do and what problem you came across. We'll do our best to help and to improve the site where appropriate.
Reviewing accessibility
Accessibility is not a one-off exercise.
We intend to review the website as content and functionality change, and to update this statement following further significant testing.
